Spoiled...but Not Rotten: Free Family Events this Weekend 5/8

Here are this weekend's free/cheap activities:

On Saturday, 5/8, from 11am -1pm, Toys"R"Us will be having a Crayola Glow Explosion Event. A free gift will be given out, one per person and while supplies last.
On Saturday, 5/8, Publix will be letting kids decorate an 8" cake for Mom between 10am - 4pm. Some stores are providing free cakes, others are charging between $6-$7. Go here to see the details.
Jo-Ann craft stores will have a FREE make it- take it even on Saturday (5/8) from 1pm - 3pm. They will be making 2 projects - a flower bouquet and a fingerprint card. This is the first time Jo-Ann stores have had a make it- take it event, so I recommend calling your local store to make sure they are participating.
On both Saturday (5/8) and Sunday (5/9) from 2pm - 4pm, head to Pottery Barn Kids to make a colorful tissue-paper flowers for Mom! This is a free event and available while supplies last.
Lowe's will be celebrating Mother's Day in this week's Build and Grow Clinic where they will be making a Trellis Planter. Class starts at 10am. Go here to sign up for the class at your local store.
Head over to Michael's on Saturday (5/8) for a Mother's Day Card Event. From 10am - Noon, you can make a FREE Mother's Day card to take home to Mom. Also on Saturday, from Noon-1pm, Michael's will have a FREE Wilton Cookie Event where you can decorate a special treat for Mom!
Lakeshore Learning Center will be making Mother's Day Jewelry Holders from 11am - 3pm on Saturday, 5/8.

Free/Cheap Eats:

On every Sunday through September, Krispy Kreme is offering BOGO FREE Kool Kreme soft-serve sundaes. Go here to find a participating location.
Smokey Bones is offering a FREE meal for Mom (with purchase of another meal) on Mother's Day. Go here to print your coupon.
Ikea is also celebrating Mother's Day by giving Moms a FREE breakfast and cup of coffee on Sunday, 5/9. This is only valid at participating locations only. Call your store to see if they are taking part in this offer.
On Saturday and Sunday, Champps is offering Moms a FREE entree with the purchase of an entree of equal or greater value. Go here to print your coupon. As an added bonus, they will give moms a gift card that will be loaded with a $15 credit every month for an entire year!

TCBY is giving Mom a free frozen yogurt cup or cone on Mother's Day (5/9). I recommend calling your local store to make sure they are participating.
Bob Evans has a coupon available for a FREE wrap when another wrap, side, and beverage is purchased. Coupon can be found on the Bob Evans Facebook page and is valid through 6/2.
