Free/Cheap Family Events & Eats this Weekend 6/5-6/6

Here are this weekend's free/cheap activities:

• This weekend, national parks around the country are offering a Fee Free Weekend. Go here for more information and here to see a list of participating parks by state.
• Join AC Moore on Saturday, 6/5, from 1-3pm, and decorate a free wooden Thomas train and also get a free Thomas & Friends Yearbook. Good while supplies last. Recommended for ages 4 and up.
• Head to your local Disney Store on Saturday, 6/5, from 11am - 2pm, for a Craft Activity and Photo-Op. Build a playset to create your own Toy Story adventure and bring your camera for a fun photo opportunity. Minimum age for participation is 3 years. Call your local store to confirm participation. Good while supplies last. 
• On Saturday, 6/5, join your local Lakeshore Learning Center between the hours of 11am - 3pm to make Summer Sunglasses. These free crafts are available for chidren 3 and up.
• It is the first weekend of the month, so that means Bank of America cardholders can get into more than 100 participating museums, zoos, science centers, botanical gardens, and more! Go here to see what is available in your area! 
• Home Depot will also be holding a free How-To Workshop this weekend. On Saturday, 6/5, between 9 am and Noon, they will be holding hands-on sessions teaching you how to make a Wooden Soccer Game. In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child will receive a kid-sized orange apron and an achievement pin. These "Hot-To Workshops" are designed for children ages 5-12.
• Head over to Michael's on Saturday (6/5) for a Build-a-Book by Klutz Event. From 10am - 2pm, you can make a free book by Klutz and take it home! 

Free/Cheap Eats:

• Also at Sonic, they have BOGO free offer on their Real Ice Cream Shakes. When you buy one shake you can either get another one free on the spot or receive a coupon for a free shake on your next visit. Offer runs through June 27th.
• On every Sunday through September, Krispy Kreme is offering a BOGO FREE Kool Kreme soft-serve sundaes. Go here to find a participating location.
• If you live near a Mimi's Cafe, you can use these coupons to get get either a FREE Mimi's Cafe Kids Meal with any adult entree Purchase or a FREE Petite Treat with the purchase of any entree. Coupons expire 6/6/10.
• Quiznos is offering a "Kids Eat Free" promotion. You will receive one FREE kids meal with the purchase of a select entree. Go here for more information.
