I called FAO and they said it's a technical difficulty that they are clearing up and should be good by 6pm pacific

No, you don't need a promo code.I have tried several browsers - Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer and it is only working in Chrome. Why that is, I don't know. It is a free download if you want to try it!
