FurReal Friends Lulu My Cuddlin' Kitty Review

My daughter is fascinated by all the FurReal Friends toys. Whenever she sees one in the store, she immediately runs over to it. She will sit in the store, petting whichever animal has caught her eye that day (well, the best she can while it is still in the box) and will carry out a full conversation with it. So, when Hasbro contacted me regarding a review of the FurReal Friends Lulu My Cuddlin' Kitty, I was quick to jump on it. After all, I was dying to know if they were as cool as they looked.

On the day I received my FurReal Friends Lulu My Cuddlin' Kitty, I immediately opened it. No sooner had I let one ounce of light into the box did I hear a "meow." Getting her out of the box, I couldn't believe how lifelike she looked and felt! She obviously has a motion detector because just the slightest movement initiated a response of some sort. Included in the box with Lulu was an adoption certificate, a comb, and care instructions.

It is really scary how much Lulu looks and feels like a real cat! She purrs when you pet her, meows, blinks, licks her paw, and even rolls over on her back so you can give her a tummy rub! Surprisingly, she even "sheds" a little, although it is mostly when you are combing her. The shedding wasn't bad at all, nothing like a real cat!

Recommended for ages 4 and up, Lulu was a hit with both of my kids!  She is lightweight and they could move her around the house easily. Because she is so responsive, just walking by her set her off with a "meow," so I would recommend turning her off when not in use to conserve the batteries.

FurReal Friends Lulu My Cuddlin' Kitty is great for any animal-loving child.  Once Lulu sits on your lap and purrs, you just may fall in love with her too!
